Friends,I Have A Special Gift For You Today,We Gave You An Exclusive Interview With One Group From Italo Dance Music History,Well They Are From My Childhood,Back In 1989,Everybody Has Memory With Them In Europe And In The World And We Will Never Forgot Them,They Are "Datura" And Still Working For Us! For Old & New Fans,Here You Can Read This Big Interview:
01) Who Is Datura,Your Age And Where Do You Live?
Datura is a magical plant which grows in the hills of North Mexico. The Yaqui shaman use these plants for their rituals to get close to knowledge.
From this plant "Stefano Mazzavillani" (born in 1963 march, 19) and "Ciro Pagano" (born in 1958 february, 15) take the name for the band. Datura live in Bologna (Italy)
02) How Did You Decide To Produce Songs And What Was Your First Song (Unrelease)?
We're decided to start in 1989 during a live tour in a simple way; one day we said: "We have to make music together" "Ok Do it!" After a year in 1990,
we wrote "Carico Carico Carico" an italian smash hit! Thanks God! There are no unreleased Datura songs. The first Datura tracks was "Nu Style" in 1991.

03) What Kind Of Music Do You Listen To,Your Favourite Italodance Song,Your Favorite Djs (Artists) And What Is Your First Hobby? Tell Us About Your Dj Friends Too!
There is not only a kind of music that we listen. Maybe trance, goa and electronics are the "best of" for us, but really, we listen a lot of music.

04) Can You Tell Us That What Are Your Equipments Or Softwares For Use To Produce Your Music?
Softwares For Use To Produce Your Music? We have a recording studio in Bologna http://www.cocostudio.it or http://www.myspace.com/cocostudio where we make music every day.
We workwith PC pentium 4, Steinberg Cubase, Steinberg Wavelab 5, Creamware Pulsar
and more music software and plugins. We've got also outboards like effects (lexicon, roland, focusrite...) and keyboards (virus and more...), but first
it need ideas to make and to produce music...For dj set we use laptop Toshiba with traktor.
05) Do You Have A Big Project "PEZZI DA 90"! Please Explain And Tell Us More About It!

a big project about the music of the nineties. "PEZZI DA 90" is the real djset and live act in pure ninety style with Datura in consolle and the artists of this period in live performances that remakes the atmosphere of happiness and joyful of these years.
But "PEZZI DA 90" is also a compilation in double CD, you can find the volume 1: Made in Italy in the stores (we're working at the volume 2), and then is a TV Show on "Enjoy Television (Sky 872)" and it will be a radio show this autumn. "PEZZI DA 90" is the
original pure ninetes music and the same atmosphere and parties: "ora come allora".

06) In What Cities Or Countries Have You Done Live Shows In,And Would You Like To Come To Asia?
We've done live show in France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Austria,Hungary, Croatia and more in Europe... Yes we'd like to go to Asia to play our djset and live performance
07) Do You Think That Dance Music Is Going Through A Bad Time? Do You Have Any Opinion For Correct That! How Do You See The Future Of Italo Dance?
Simply at the moment there are not good ideas about dance and more. The future and the present come from the past. That's all.
08) What Is Your Plan And Your New Project For The Future? And Do You Have A New Song (What Is The Name Of That)?
At the moment we are working for "PEZZI DA 90" with datura dj set. We mix and mash up all the best of 90ties in consolle. We're talking about a new song but in perfect 90ties style, maybe in autumn 2007 it will be ready.
09) And What About Your Label And Also About Your Common Produce With Other Labels?
We started in 1989 with "Irma Group" and then we worked and work with "Time" and "Saifam", but also with a lot of other labels, as always.
